Placing an Order
Orders may be placed online through this website or by mail, fax, or telephone. All orders will be processed within 48 hours of receipt of payment in full. Please note that books are subject to availability. Do not use a PO box unless required for delivery by your country.

Discounts
CFA Institute provides discounts to encourage nonmembers, members and candidates to
purchase CFA Institute publications in bulk. To determine the discounted unit price and adjusted total,
enter the quantity desired in "QTY" and click "update cart." The updated
unit price will be displayed once the quantity is entered and the cart
updated. Bulk discounts do not apply to the CFA Program curriculum.
The current CFA Institute discounts are as follows:
Candidates that previously purchased the 2006 Level I CFA Program curriculum
will only be charged $275 for the 2007 Level I CFA Program curriculum.
No other discounts apply.
Textbooks Published by CFA Institute Discount: Orders of 12 or more of the same textbook listed below qualify for a 25% discount:

off of the nonmember price. This discount only applies to items published by CFA Institute and where no other discount applies.
Order Forms
All candidates for the 2008 Level I, II, and III exams will automatically receive the curriculum when they register for the exam. Do not purchase the curriculum if you plan to register for the 2008 exam or you will receive and pay for 2 sets of the custom curriculum.
Non-candidate purchases of curriculum - If you will not be registering for a 2008 exam and want to submit a curriculum order via mail/post or fax, please complete the general order form below.

for accuracy, be sure your address information is correct and complete,
and include a daytime telephone number (required for shipping). Do not use a PO box unless required for delivery by your country.
Payment
The following payment methods are accepted:
- Check or money order: Please make your
check or money order payable, in U.S. funds, to “PBD”.
- Credit card: MasterCard, VISA, American
Express, or Discover credit cards are accepted. If you are supplying
credit card information on the order form, it is important to include
the complete card number, expiration date, and signature.
- Wiring: When wiring funds, please contact
PBD for instructions at 1-800-789-2467 (United States and Canada, toll
free) or 1-770-280-4187. You will need to include all of your bank's
transfer fees (check with your bank for fees) plus a US$20 service fee
in the wire transfer. Please include the name, company, country that
PBD is shipping to, and the phrase "Company 11" in the "Transaction
Description" so PBD can verify your order.
All orders must be paid in full before shipment. No invoicing
requests will be accepted. For your protection, please do
not send cash. PBD does not accept cash-on-delivery (COD) orders.
Shipping, Handling, and Taxes
Please include the correct shipping and handling fees and taxes with
your order; otherwise, the order could be returned.

Rush orders received before 12:00 pm U.S. Eastern time are shipped the
same day; orders received after 12:00 pm are shipped the next business

Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
If you do not receive your order within the specified time frame, contact
PBD Customer Service and the books will be reshipped by the contracted
delivery method at PBD's expense.
Deliveries outside the United States:
International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes,
which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
You must pay any additional charges for customs clearance;
we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country.
Contact your local customs office for further information.
Canadian GST: Deliveries to Canada are subject
to GST tax.
Returns Policy
Books in original, resalable condition may be returned within 60 days
of PBD's ship date. Bookstores may return books that are in original, resalable condition up to 6 months from the ship date. Prior permission is required; please contact
PBD Customer Service for permission. Returns received within 30 days
of PBD's ship date are reimbursed at 100% of purchase price. Returns received
between 31 and 60 days of PBD's ship date are reimbursed at 85% of purchase
price. In both cases, reimbursement is limited to the cost of the books
only; shipping and handling are not refundable. Included with each order
is a Returns Procedure Form that must be completed and included with any
returned items. Contact PBD if you need a copy of this
form. You are responsible for the package until it is received in PBD's
warehouse, so please consider shipping the books with a service that allows
tracking of shipments. Books received without prior permission will be
returned.
Damaged items: Please report damaged shipments
to PBD immediately at 1-800-789-2467 (United States and Canada, toll free)
or 1-770-280-4187. PBD will not reimburse for any damaged or lost shipments
sent by any carrier other than UPS. Keep the box and its contents until
speaking with PBD.
Back Orders
A “back order” occurs when an order is placed for an item that is not in stock. CFA Institute strives to manage inventory to allow PBD to fulfill all orders upon receipt; however, back orders are sometimes unavoidable. Orders for all in-stock items are shipped within 48 hours; any books placed on back order are charged at the time of shipment and are automatically sent by the method requested on the order form as soon as PBD receives additional stock from the publisher.
